Tagging & Poison Bomb Guide
Tagging Mechanics
To tag something means to hit a 0 (displayed in-game as a shield), allowing the enemy to retaliate. Wearing a Ring of Recoil will slowly kill the opponent. Hitting a 0 awards no combat XP.
Requirements for Bombs
Poison Bomb Mechanics
Damage from Poison Bombs is based on the accuracy of your equipped weapon. Equip your best damaging weapon for maximum effectiveness.
Note: Ensure you do not retaliate and hit the mob, as this may result in experience gain.

Poison Bomb Tagging
Two Throwing Methods
- Throw Under: Stops you from attacking the monster after throwing the bomb. (Safest method)
- Throw Onto: May cause you to attack the monster. Click the ground again to stop attacking.
If using a bow (without arrows) or a staff (without runes), you will NOT attack after throwing the bomb.
Maximising Poison Damage
The poison damage scales with your weapon's damage. Equip the best weapon possible for maximum poison effectiveness.
