Skill Resets

Skill resets allow the player to temporarily level up a skill, complete quests and tasks. Later allowing to reset those skills back to level 1 retaining the permanent benefits you earned from the Quests or Tasks. This guide covers why and what you should do before resetting each skill, so you don't miss out on any one-time rewards, boosts, or unlocks tied to any of the content.

Requirements

• Initiating.. ^{You must talk to Nastroth, wait 7 days, then talk to Nastroth again to perform the skill reset.}
• Bank PIN ^{The bank PIN requires 7 days to take effect after it has been set. (A player without a Bank PIN would need to wait 14 days to perform a skill reset)}
• Skill Reset Threshold ^{The skill must be less than level 11 (or less than level 16 for Constitution) to be eligible for reset.}
• Reset Ready ^{When you are ready to reset a skill, empty your worn equipment and inventory, then speak to Nastroth.}
• Reset Cooldown ^{Only one skill may be reset in every 180 day period (plus the additional 7-day waiting period).}

Where

Nastroth can be found in the courtyard, outside of the Lumbridge Castle. He is the NPC responsible for performing skill resets.

Magic

Do these before resetting

• In Aid of the Myreque — Quest completion grants 2 Quest Points and unlocks access to Burgh de Rott area. ^{Requires level 7 Magic}
• The Tale of Muspah — Quest completion grants 1 Quest Point. ^{Requires level 10 Magic}
• Extra Cheese — Desert Achievement task requires the player to spend a Pizzaz Point ^{Requires level 7 Magic}
• Creating Lvl-1 Enchant tablets — Using Magic to create enchantment tablets for future use after resetting the skill. ^{Used for Sapphire and Opal jewellery.}
• Creating Jewellery — Alongside tablets, jewellery can also be created and enchanted whilst the skill is levelled up. ^{Most common/useful pieces are Ring of recoils, Games necklaces and Featherfingered necklaces}
• Five a Day! — Cast Bones to Bananas spell while in the Senntisten area. ^{Requires level 15 Magic (Must be boosted with a Spicy Stew)}

• Necromancy! — Quest completion unlocks access to the City of Um. ^{Reset keeps the quest completed and still allows access to the area.}
